Metricum ("the app", "we", "us") helps researchers follow their scholarly impact by tracking public Google Scholar and PubMed metrics. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. By using Metricum you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

We do not collect your name from any source other than what you optionally provide, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

To provide the app, limited data is shared with:

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app: Settings → Delete Account. Deletion removes your user record, sessions, device tokens, cached metrics, and configured researcher profile.

Push notifications

Notifications are optional. You can disable them at any time in the iOS Settings app under Notifications, or by not granting notification permission.

Children

Metricum is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
