Frequently asked questions

How do I sign in?

Metricum uses passwordless sign-in. Enter your email address and we email you a one-time code that expires in 10 minutes. Enter that code to sign in, there is no password to remember.

Where do my numbers come from?

Citations and h-index come from the public Google Scholar profile you configure during onboarding. Publication counts come from the PubMed search query you provide. Metricum only reads publicly available data.

How often do my metrics update?

On the free tier, your metrics and charts refresh weekly. Metricum Pro refreshes more frequently and lets you refresh on demand.

What does Metricum Pro include?

Pro unlocks faster and on-demand refreshes, AI Insights, trending papers, and push notifications when your citations or publications change. It is a monthly or annual subscription with a 7-day free trial.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID. Manage or cancel anytime in the iOS Settings app under your name → Subscriptions.

How do I turn notifications on or off?

Enable notifications from Settings in the app, or manage them anytime in the iOS Settings app under Notifications → Metricum.

How do I delete my account?

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from within the app: Settings → Delete Account.
